Does the consulate offer any type of service or help/advice related to setting up a power of attorney for British citezens living in Thailand.

If you wish to make a Power Of Attorney for UK matters you can find more information about financial and health Power of Attorneys on our website https://www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney

If you wish to make a Power Of Attorney for Thai matters, you should speak to a local lawyer. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/thailand-list-of-lawyers/list-pf-lawyers-in-thailand

If you decide to put a Power Of Attorney in place, you should register it with all relevant authorities e.g. banks, pension providers.

Hope this information is helpful.
