*Urgent* - Job Wanted in Innovation / Start-up / Marketing / Sales / Anything where I can develop

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! I am a 29 year old currently working in Thailand as a teacher. As I am a bit more ambitious than being stuck in a teaching role (or going home back to London), I would like to find a job where I can develop.

I have a background in behavioural science, currently studying an MA Entrepreneurship & Innovation (online), and have 6 years working experience in quite diverse fields such as web development and management for Wordpress and e-learning platforms, innovation management & city development (I managed an idea pipeline & delivery of innovative plans to improve a city in the UK and also created a food-waste cafe concept that was funded 25K), portfolio management for digital transformation projects, and some user research & design.

As the title suggests, I am looking for a role in anything related to innovation, marketing, sales. It would be fantastic to find something in a start-up environment (digital start-ups, social enterprises, innovative firms that seek both profit and to create social value). Yet, I am fully aware that I am in Thailand, so ultimately, I am happy with anything where I can develop my skills and challenge myself. It's all about self-improvement for me because ultimately, as I learn the tricks of the trade, I would like to create my own social business.

Why would you consider / recommend me?

  • I have delivered over and above in all previous workplaces;
  • I can learn complex IT systems with ease (as long as you don't ask me to code something);
  • My friends say I have a strategic mind when it comes to improving things to maximise sales / user experience. For example, in my previous portfolio management role, I used my extra time to create automations, wikis, re-design Sharepoint, and improve information management in order to facilitate delivery of digital projects (project managers were my 'customers' at that time);
  • Sensible, pragmatic, with an infinite repository of ideas to improve things;
  • Excellent English (>970 TOEIC);
  • Good chat;

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
