Air pollution in 25 areas around Bangkok and its vicinity hit unsafe levels on Wednesday morning with PM2.5 readings coming in at 25 to 89 micrograms per cubic metre (μg/m3), the Pollution Control Department reported.

SRT offers refund for cancellation of trips from Jan 6-31

Phuket flights take a hit amid COVID scare

Seafood producer Thai Union says operating normally after 69 COVID-19 cases

BANGKOK, Jan 6 (Reuters) - The world’s top canned tuna maker, Thai Union Group Pcl, said on Wednesday its factories were continuing to operate normally after 69 out of more than 23,000 workers at its plants southwest of Bangkok tested positive for COVID-19.

A big contradiction in reported COVID infection numbers in Samut Sakhon

Governors told to prepare provincial field hospitals for worst case scenario

Govt Suggested to Spend More on Covid Relief Measures

BANGKOK, Jan 6 (TNA) – The Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB) on Wednesday proposed that the government spend 200 billion baht more on support measures while it lowered the GDP growth forecast from 2.0-4.0 per cent to 1.5-3.5 per cent.

Covid from Ang Thong cockfighting cluster spreads to 5 provinces

No flights from U-Tapao Airport until end Jan

U-Tapao Airport announced on Wednesday that it was closing services until the end of January. The airport, which is two hours from Bangkok in the eastern province of Rayong, is cancelling all fights this month because it falls in “red zone”.
