BANGKOK (NNT) - The current PM2.5 situation in Thailand is now good, as the winter breeze that comes with high pressure from China is arriving in Thailand. However, PM2.5 might accumulate after January 15 because the breeze will lose strength in this region.

Immigration warns of serious implications for Thais crossing borders illegally

(Reuters) - Alphabet Inc's YouTube said on Tuesday it has suspended Donald Trump's channel as it violated policies for inciting violence after last week's assault on the U.S. Capitol by the president's supporters.

Thailand says on track to use Sinovac vaccine, despite trial data

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand on Wednesday said it was still on track to receive and administer a coronavirus vaccine by China's Sinovac Biotech starting next month, despite data from a Brazil trial that showed 50.4% efficiency, health officials said.

JAKARTA (Reuters) - Indonesia launched one of the world's biggest COVID-19 vaccination campaigns on Wednesday with President Joko Widodo getting the first shot of a Chinese vaccine as his country fights one of the worst coronavirus outbreaks in Asia.

YANGON—The Myanmar government has begun taking steps to tackle what are seen as irregularities surrounding a controversial China-backed city development project in a Karen-controlled area opposite Mae Sot District of  Thailand’s Tak Province, The Irrawaddy news website reported.

Thai pulmonologist, Dr. Manoon Leechawengwongs, is suggesting that Thailand provides first dose inoculations to all Thais and migrants within this year, rather than half the country being inoculated with 2 doses, with the other half having to wait until the following year.

Opposition Pheu Thai Party proposes more cash for those affected by COVID-19

Thailand’s opposition Pheu Thai Party has voiced disagreement with the government’s plan to provide cash giveaways of 3,500 baht a month for two months to people affected by COVID-19, noting that the amount promised is insufficient to help ease their economic hardship.
