Popular Post brianthainess
Hope this is the right forum. Yesterday unexpectedly, I had my disabled mate call me in Korat, He thought his *carer* was not coming back to take care of him (long story). So I was willing to bring him to my home I'm in Trat, I would like to thank all involved, My wife was on the phone to Korat Tambon, eventually after having to phone different departments about five, we got hold of the Pu Yi Ban responsible for where he lives, he was willing after my wife with humor "yakked yakked " him, to visit my mate and complete his travel document so we didn't have to hang around in korat, we visited our Tambon for our travel docs which they were happy to issue. While filling out our forms, my mate rang to say his carer had returned. Moral is, it was possible to go collect him, I just wanted to give a big shout out to the Pu Yi Ban who was willing to help whom we have never met, and pass on my experience to anybody that might end up in a similar situation. 2
Jeffr2
It would be nice to find a website that gets updated on a regular basis with regards to quarantine requirements when traveling around Thailand.

There is some "TAT newsroom" with a daily update. Can't garantuee for it. https://www.tatnews.org/ https://www.tatnews.org/2021/01/tat-update-summary-of-provincial-covid-19-control-measures-as-of-6-january-2021/ (don't be confused by "6-january" in the link name, current update is of 15 Jan) And be aware that much of it are empty phrases often loosely enforced. Just read in the forum about travel by car from here to there. Edited January 16, 2021 by KhunBENQ 1

I forgot to mention, if we had got my mate home here, he would of had to stay in self quarantine 2 weeks.
Autonuaq
first of all around the world traveling is not recommend to stop spreading you have to make a separation between you and your pal. he hes to be isolated in your car. the best is to put him in the back behind a screen and he his own space. avoid any contact and stay apart minimal 1.5 meter. always have the wind blow between the two of you. always wear glasses to protect your eyes clean all he has touched and been with as all the things he taken with him clean the car and all he touches with alcohol min 80% also the house. the bed room you provide to him is the only space he can stay for 10 tot 14 days. provide him his own shower, toilet and all the cleaning stuff needed for him the laundry has to be washed separated provide him as much as possible one one plates, knives, vorks, cups, bottles and so on. all the garbage he put in plastic bags and even the bag itself collect all and treat is a bio hazardous then after quarantine clean all and send hem for a test to confirm he is free of virus. after confirmation clean all again just to be sure. virus can survive on the skin more than 10 hrs and even on copper can survive more then 6 hrs. on paper products paper up to 6 days. alcohol 70% the SARS-CoV-2 is, at this moment, death after 30 seconds Edited January 17, 2021 by Autonuaq added lifetime virus on some objects 1

He does not have to stay in a room, there is a well fenced ria of land, more chance of me getting covid in 7/11.
