rooster59 Posted January 17, 2021 Share Posted January 17, 2021 Health Min assures safety of field hospitals Praphorn Praphornkul BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed the safety of its field hospitals as they enforce strict measures and prevent a viral spread into other communities. Director-General of the Department of Health Service Support Dr.Tares Krassanairawiwong, toay reiterated that field hospitals are for the treatment of mild cases in which patients show few or no symptoms. He elaborated they were also set up in preparation for major outbreaks overrunning hospitals. There are currently eight field hospitals in five provinces adhering to strict preventative protocols. A key part of erecting field hospitals has become ensuring an understanding with nearby citizens along with finding a wide open and well ventilated space. Some were placed on the grounds of existing hospitals in new buildings or state detention centers.
