That's what I do too. I'm now using water from my tank - crystal clear.

But the rusty water problem seems to have settled down today. Literally:

I don't mind a bit of rust in the water, but I wonder what else is in there.

Anyone remember the sign at the hair-pin bend on Patong hill on the Kathu side, celebrating that Patong had potable water that you could drink straight from the tap?

It was eventually taken away but, was up for at least a couple of years.
