Have I got this right…? If you have a Non O multi entry visa , if you leave Thailand

You don’t need a re entry permit stamp..?

But if you have a Non O multi entry visa and have a one year extension

Based on marriage to a Thai National, you do need a re entry permit stamp?

Or have I got this the wrong way around…?

If you have an extension of stay and want to keep it or if you want to keep your current permitted to stay stamp alive you must obtain a re-entry permit prior to leaving Thailand.
