On January 9, celebrity DJ Techin Ploypetch – or Matoom – held his birthday celebration at Banyan Tree Hotel on Sathorn Road. He later announced that he, as well as others who had attended his party, had contracted Covid-19. Sathorn director Pansak Charoensuk wanted the police to check if it was illegal to hold the party amid the virus crisis. That's a given seeing as it was a party and many people attended and spreading the virus . I don't think you need bother with an investigation as all the evidence is out there for everyone to see and has been reported on for some time now but if you want to make yourselves feel important just go ahead anyway . ThailandRyan Posted January 31, 2021 Share Posted January 31, 2021 The Banyan Tree for all intensive purposes has had the look that is has been pretty much closed up. You have been able to order food through their Line App, and have it delivered if you like. Their have been security at the building, and the only cars I have observed over the last few months going in and out, infrequently have been Hi-So Mercedes, Lambos, Porsches, and Salon cars. However, looking at the website they are open for booking rooms and such. Must only be the Hi-So crowd staying there and partying.
