Measures to combat Covid-19 may have been eased in Hua Hin but visitors from out of Prachuap Khiri Khan must still follow certain protocols - especially if coming from Red Zones.

Talk News Online reported that the Chatchai market has been having 3000 to 6000 visitors a day.

Local officials were there checking that everyone was following the rules.

The local Covid authorities said that people from the dark red and red zones entering the province must quarantine at home for 14 days.

This includes Bangkok, Samut Prakan, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Sakhon. They must also check in with the QR code so they can be monitored and traced.

Those from Orange areas - including Chonburi, Rayong, and neighboring Phetchaburi - should do something called self quarantine meaning they can go out to buy food but should eat at home and avoid things like funerals, weddings and ordinations.

Two meter distancing......Zero!

"Talk News Online reported that the Chatchai market has been having 3000 to 6000 visitors a day."  From my recent experienes there are two typos here.  Should read "... 300 to 600 visitors a day", excluding vendors and their helpers/family.

Then they missed a few zeroes in the other direction.

I was there 2 weeks ago for one week. Completely empty market.

Not any quarantine, but most of the time we were the only guests in the hotel and only on 3 occasions went to shop for water, beer and food.

Just hours of daily massages for 150b/h. Easy to make appointments with  the same therapist. We were posing risk to them, but they have never asked from where we are.
