Let me just get this out of the way...I really don't think the OP is a Harvard grad. Even a legacy would have a better grasp on reality.....in my opinion. If he or she really is a grad, perhaps we'll meet up at the next alumni function. I'll buy her a Shirley Temple. I can't quite figure out what "wokeness" Europeans, Aussies and Canadians are trying to impose on Thailand. For example, the first time I came to Thailand, I noticed there were lots of what the West now calls "trans" people (ladyboys and Ka-toeys), or certainly the West includes them in the long alphabet of designations for those who have a range of gender or sexual preferences. I noticed instantly how integrated such people were in Thai society and how the average Thai not only couldn't care less that a born male dressed and acted with extreme femininity, but treated everyone with equal respect. Then there are the females who look and act particularly masculine, which the Thais call "Toms". Nobody singles them out as peculiar of abnormal either. They simply live their lives the way they like, and are accepted by Thai society. The Thais were "woke" long before closet gays like Lindsey Graham, Speaker Mike Johnson, Josh Hawley, Stephen Miller, etc., started ranting about "wokeness" in the US. If anything, one might argue Thai sentiments filtered through to the West and became mainstream. Now as for this Forum site and the Trump material, two points: someone has already pointed out that the most prolific thread creator is about as obsessed with Trump as anyone anywhere, and also seems to live in constant fear of "lefties" and some creatures he in constant error calls Communist or Socialist. Obviously he has no understanding of other of those ideologies; they are just epithets to him, thrown at those who do not worship the clearly demented Trump (How are those cases against the Reflecting Pool "vandals" going? The MAGAs all accepted Trump's lunatic rants as gospel, yet now the charges against the supposed vandals have been dropped.) In the many Trump threads, the same people who criticize the threads are ever present in each and every one of those threads, offering nothing of substance, but rather just trying to attack people who see Trump's corruption and insanity and self-dealing clearly.
