Has anyone ever used Thailandpost to send to the U.K. ?

My gf had a package coming but we have received message saying the address is incorrect . It isn’t as I have a photo of what the sender wrote .

Does anyone know what U.K. based courier deals with their packages once they arrive?

Many thanks...

Ours have always come via ParcelForce - normal post both ends.

If you put a high value on the package ParcelForce will contact you re' import taxes before they will deliver it. I can't remember what the limit is, but if you have it at less than a 1000 baht, delivered to the door with no issues.

Wont help you as my problem was the other way round

A package was sent from Singapore to me in Phetchabun Province, I forget now who it was but it was definitely one the International Carriers, they returned to sender saying no such address in Bangkok.

I found out by e-mail the sender wanted confirmation of my address before they tried again, which I did quoting

T. for Tambon

A. for Amphur

C. for Changwat

It arrived safely without the T A C additions via Thailand Post.

The local sorting office should be able to trace it, if it hasn't been hanging around too long, otherwise it will be filed in a room with the unofficial title of Undeliverable.

Good hunting
