February 28, 20215 yr Rayong requests 4,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses Tanakorn Sangiam BANGKOK (NNT) - Rayong province has asked the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration for a special allocation of COVID-19 vaccine, citing repeated transmissions in the area. The Governor of Rayong, Channa Ieamsang made the request this week, for a special allocation of COVID-19 vaccine to the eastern province. In an urgent memo sent via the Ministry of the Interior, Rayong province requested for 4,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, citing the necessity to rebuild confidence in the province’s tourism sector, private sector, and to help boost the national economy, as the province is the site of the Eastern Economic Corridor, and U-Tapao International Airport receiving foreign tourists.
