Is it possible to go to a Thai embassy/consulate in another country and get a criminal background check for Thailand after you have moved away? Lived there about a decade and moved to a new place in Asia. One opportunity I have here requires a criminal background check from the last country I lived..........not holding my breathe... Surelynot Posted March 8, 2021 Share Posted March 8, 2021 Yes...did one for my Thai wife when we lived in Germany......bit suspicious, we had to pay cash by envelop to a specific policeman to get it, not much, but it all worked out in the end.........this was 14 years ago. A little bit slow but efficient and it all worked. They even sent me an e mail asking for a bit of extra information.
