Popular Post Mister Fixit
I have had to use meds to help with my erection since 2005, when I was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma (a small benign cyst in my pituitary gland) which has now disappeared. I have been having 3-weekly injections of testosterone enanthate ever since. At first I used half a 100 mg tablet of real Viagra, then changed to Kamagra as it was cheaper. Over time, I had to increase to a full 100mg tablet. Then I tried the Thai GPO version, Sidegra, but that really was not as good at all so I reverted to Kamagra. Now I am finding that even the full Kamagra works but it's on and off. Things progress fine at first but then after 5 or so minutes, things drop off and he goes to sleep. He can be revived with some work and I can usually orgasm eventually but it can be a chore. I had some left over Sidegra and started cutting a tablet in half and taking it with a full 100 mg Kamagra and that improved things somewhat, but not 100% of the time. The Sidegra is finished now so I am looking for another answer. I am not 100% certain of the maximum dosage of sildenafil and I am reluctant to take 2 Kamagra, but I am willing to try 1 and a half. The other thought was that genuine Viagra may do the trick. Either that or try Cialis but Cialis is longer acting and as I am now 72, I don't need it for a 'Pattaya weekend' bonking session. If anyone knows of other ED meds that might be more effective, please let me know. I am sure there must be others by now. I seem to recall something called Levitra but know nothing about it. The other option is to see a urologist and see what else might be going on down below. Perhaps I need to increase the testosterone dosage or frequency. In which case, can anyone recommend a good one, preferably in a Government hospital or reasonably priced private one? Why would I stop the testosterone? My body doesn't make it because my pituitary gland has atrophied since my TRT. Do you mean stop in the short term until I have a full hormone test? I had a CBC 10 days ago. All fine, but slightly elevated uric acid. I am having my testosterone check on Thursday. I am unsure what to ask for though - total free testosterone or something else?

I had a full blood test 10 days ago on 5 March and my glucose is minimal. 77 on a range of 74 - 106 mg/Dl. I also had an ECG and chest X-ray the same day. My heart is perfect for my age, no sign of enlargement since I started going there 10-12 years ago. My aorta is also the perfect size, 1.7 cms I think. No signs of an aneurysm at all. I have no circulatory issues at all. All these tests were done at the National Chest Institute in Nonthaburi, the leading cardiac training hospital in Thailand. As an aside, I am sure I have my mother's genes. My cholesterol has always been high since I started going there, but the ratios are perfect. My mother had high cholesterol for the last 35 years of her life and she died 18 months ago aged 101! In her nursing home, the doc said he'd never met anyone so old with such a strong heart.

Popular Post Peterw42
OP, You are comparing 3 products that are the same active ingredients and the same strength of the active ingredient. If you think you are reacting differently to different "brand names" of the same thing, that is probably more in your own imagination. You dismiss Cialis, which is actually a different active ingredient. Testosterone is not a cure for ED

Good to hear....so many people who use Viagra etc. do so without ever looking at the root causes of their dysfunction which usually lie in obesity, insulin resistance and poor circulation. I was simply pointing that out.

Zero tostesterone = zero chance of developing prostate cancer. When I had prostate cancer I was given a hormone that eliminated my tostesterone production. PSA went to zero and 10 years later I'm still in remission.

I have to agree with you, before last week I was living in England with my English wife all my life, don't think I've had sex since I was 40 years old (65 now). I'm gob smacked to read that someone aged 72 still expects to have sex. But also agree with the first poster, if it's something you want to do, and can find someone willing to do it with you, why shouldn't you be enabled? Best wishes for finding an answer to your problem. Edited March 15, 2021 by OswaldBastable 2

You dismiss Cialis, which is actually a different active ingredient. Testosterone is not a cure for ED Well, I can tell you for a fact that Sidegra, the THai GPO version of sildenafil was much less effective than Kamagra. The reason I mentioned all three versions of sildenafil is that manufacturing quality varies considerably depending on where the product is made. I spoke to my local pharmacist whose English is excellent and he said that most drugs made by the Thai GPO are not as effective as branded ones. Kamagra has always worked fine but seems to have lost its efficacy for me in the last few months. I am happy to pay extra for genuine Viagra if t works more effectively than an Indian made brand like Kamagra. I did not 'dismiss' Cialis as you mistakenly thought, and would happily use it if I thought it would be more effective than anything else. My concern is that it seems overkill for a 72 year old bloke with a 51 year old wife who don't have sex every few hours. And I am well aware that testosterone is not a 'cure' for ED. However, the two are linked and it is you who conflated the two and came to the conclusion that I thought that. So just because I am 72, I should suddenly stop having sex? That sounds remarkably like a little bit of jealousy there ...
