Phnom Penh to have a large green lung on a 75 hectare site at Ta Mok Lake

Phnom Penh will have a large green lunch, to be created on an area of about 75 hectares at Boeung Tumnup Kob Srov or Boeung Ta Mok in Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh. Phnom Penh city hall plans to plant about 100,000 trees and set up various amusement parks on the said site.

Phnom Penh Governor Khuong Sreng said “Phnom Penh National Park” is a direct initiative and indication of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

The Governor of Phnom Penh, who is paying attention to the creation of a green cover in the capital, added that the establishment of this national park is to enhance the beauty of Phnom Penh to have a beautiful green shelter, a good environment and to leave a legacy for the next generation.
