rodknock Posted March 17, 2021 Share Posted March 17, 2021 allergic to omeprazole. used to take rinitidine, no issues appears to be no longer acailable. was taking lansoprazole,no issues which appeares to be no longer available. have gone to the big pharmacy on on-nut and not available would esomeprazole or famotive be acceptable??? LosLobo Posted March 18, 2021 Share Posted March 18, 2021 (edited) H2 blocker Ranitidine has been recalled due to unacceptable levels of carcinogen N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA). Both Famotidine and Cimetidine are similar H2 blockers and are both locally made in Thailand. Esomeprazole or Nexium is a Proton Pump Inhibitor similar to Lansoprazole and is available in Thailand but is imported (ie expensive).
