This is the water filter we've owned for 30 years. (Yeah, yeah, call me a cheapskate!) Brand-new ones, like this one on Lazada are Bht4,200.

 

We've had it cleaned every year or two but the company that did this service is gone. As I understand it, there's activated charcoal in one of the big tubes, resin beads in the other. The small tube in front has a ceramic piece.

 

The filtered water has really slowed down lately. Does anybody have a lead of who might come & get this, replace its guts & reinstall it here in Bangkok???

 

We want to use it as a pre-filter for an RO drinking water filter during the salty season.

Looks a bit like an older version of the Mazuma my wife bought recently.

You could try them for replacement charcoal, etc.
