I can't say as an engineer what I really think of that guy, I'd get banned never mind a holiday,  frankly he is a total wind up.

I find John Cadogan very funny. I agree with some of his opinions and disagree with others, but I guess that's what journalism is all about. GVM is a real hot potato in Australia and the Police are right onto it. Everything he says on this subject is spot on.

I agree but sometimes he makes educated sense. The rest of the time he comes across as appealing to the lowest common denominator.

It may not be widely used in all countries but it does appear to be North American in origin... see here.

This bloke makes sense. I like my car simple as a wooden wedge. Less scifi <deleted> less issues.

Each to their own.  He is entitled to his ‘educated’ opinion - but who cares? Who died and made him boss?

I have a twin cab Ute with oversized tyres , modified front & rear bars , & engine power mods. I know it is not sensible - but I just happen to like it!

Is every ‘dude’ driving a Mercedes or a BMW a d@#khead because they could have spent 30% of the money on a Toyota that will do the same thing?

It is all about personal choice - & possibly not judging others ...

The only thing I disagree on is the snorkel. Snorkels are not just about water, when driving off road, it will keep a lot of the dust from the road entering the air cleaner.
