I saw this enclosure on a Ford Ranger at the motor show. It rolls up like a roller door, apparently it's electric, but Isuzu models in Australia have them without electric and they seem to work fine.

^ They are good, but I don't have any real need for one. I have two dogs that like to ride in the back and also an older pick up for moving stuff.

My Akita loved sticking her head out the window of mine.

 

Also, when we traveled, I could leave her in the back while we were in a hotel. Just make sure she had food and water and walk her once or twice at night...
