covid-19 "DOSES"

Featured Replies

news says government to import 35million DOSES of covid-19

a DOSE is one injection!!  covid-19 vaccine except one needs 2 DOSES for coverage!

this will bring the total to more than 100million "DOSES" in Thailand.

avg. is 4injections(dose) per VIAL 135million equals 17.5million injection coverage of 2DOSES per person unless using special syringe can get 5DOSES.

what is the population of Thailand??

upon that the government is going to arrange sales of the covid-19 vaccines to private hospitals and companies.

will the hospitals and companies resell the doses at government prices or allow hospitals and companies to sell it at any price they feel like and rip off the public??

It doesn't say 35 million vials (or 100 million vials) it's talking about doses.

135 million doses means enough to vaccinate 67.5 million people using a two-dose regimen.

earlier were 63mln, within the last days talking about 35mln, that's 98mln so for 49mln people.

That's enough for the country, because youngsters, pregnant and some other groups excluded, some won't like to be vax and there is no law to force them.

but the problem is that timetable is no known, the majority will be in 2022.

there might be those 59mln AZ never coming, if quality, supply problems
