April 29, 20215 yr Popular Post This is the best in CM....His clinic is close to Ravjev? Hospital - by Holiday Inn.... He did my hip & absolutely no problems.... English speaking, he updates his craft yearly in the US.... He used to travel to Dubai & Japan 2 weeks a month to operate there also but Covid might have stopped that.... World class Surgeon.... I asked him about favored hospitals & he indicated they were all pretty evenly staffed...I opted for Ravjev? (Spelling) & took a suite as family came over to sit.... It was large enough with mini kitchen, balconies, flat screens & a large couch, dining table....It was only about 600B more per night... NO complaints with the Dr or hospital.... I told them no walker & used crutches 1- more stable & maneuverable for me 2- I'm used to them from sports injuries years ago 3- I believe they speed up the healing 4- more manageable for driving.... I honestly wouldn't trust anybody else here...Co-insidentally he had had knee work done...I asked him who he had do it & he flew somebody in from BKK rather than have a local perform it & done at CMU....Take that as you may...Like most surgeons here, he operates at most of the hospitals....I opted for the one closest to his office so as not to have to wait.....His team was there with him at both the office and hospital.... May 20, 20215 yr Dr Chanaklan did my hip replacement last October at Bangkok Hospital in CM and I can also recommend him... I was walking without a cane / crutches after 3 days and back out playing golf in less than 3 months... Totally pain free in 4.5 months... Total cost, 425,000 baht, although my insurance paid 100% of the costs...
