Apsara Authority accelerates works to welcome tourists in Angkor

Featured Replies

Apsara Authority has accelerated works on decoration, sanitation, infrastructure, gardens and the overall environment of the Angkor Archaeological Park to be ready to welcome new tourist arrivals. “The regular maintenance is aimed to keep the park and gardens clean, particularly the restoration of damaged infrastructure,” the Apsara Authority said.

Apsara Authority has installed garbage bins throughout the park and planted trees, while expert teams in collaboration with foreign teams are busy restoring some parts of temples which have been damaged by natural factors. The COVID-19 pandemic has dried up both domestic and foreign tourists from the parks as well as the Kingdom’s other attractive tourism sites.

However, the Ministries of Tourism and Health are working to discuss the possibility of allowing vaccinated foreign tourists to visit the Kingdom. Under the initiative, tourists who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be accepted for quarantine or a reduced quarantine.

Should read Hung Sen and his Anghor Wat owning friend want your money.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Apsara to be a joint venture sharing profits with a foreign country (Japan?). As well as more unofficial corruption, of course.
