Women arrested for selling fake vaccination cards to factory workers

2 woman were arrested yesterday for selling fake vaccination cards to factory workers in Khan Por Sen Chey. The women – named as Chap Malin, 33 years old and Uy Sokha, 36 years old were arrested in the Brillian factory in Prey Pring South 1 village, Sangkat Choam Chao II, Khan Por Sen Chey while selling the counterfeit documents for 10,000 riels each.

 

When police apprehended them, they were in possession of 10 of the fake vaccination cards, which they were selling to workers who were hoping to circumvent the government rules that factory workers must be vaccinated. The arrest was the culmination of a monitoring operation that had been ongoing for several days.
