Pattaya – A British expat was found dead inside a house in Pattaya tonight with his two dogs protectively beside him.

The Nongprue Police was notified from Ms. Wanpen Supanthong, 56, who lives next door, at 5:00 P.M. today, May 13th, of the incident at a house in Soi Marb Yailia 22.

Police, rescue workers, and The Pattaya News arrived at the house and found the door and gate was locked with signs of a foul smell nearby . Rescue workers were allowed by police to unlock the door after repeated attempts to contact any occupants inside went reportedly unanswered except for barking dogs.

They found the body of a 74-year-old British man (The Pattaya News is withholding his name pending embassy and family notification.) inside the house lying deceased on the floor.
