FD1212
My doctor (at Bumrungrad Bangkok) recently suggested surgery (marsupialization), and I am not sure about it. I am looking at other Gynecologist in Bangkok to have a second opinion. Does anyone have any experience with this and can suggest a good Gynecologist for it? Thank you! Sheryl
How symptomatic are you? Asymtomatic Bartholins cysts usually require no treatment Are you post-menopausal? This Gyn is very good. US trained. https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/doctor/detail/panon-kasemsarn

The doctor recommended marsupialization within a month, she said that it is necessary to prevent potential emergency surgery in the future. I went to another doctor at BNH and she recommended to leave it alone and come back after 3 months. thank you for your suggestion, I will check out the doc you recommended. Sheryl
I expect Dr. Panon will echo the advise of the BNH doctor. There is no need to rush into surgery if it is not symptomatic.
