Norway sovereign fund expects to sell more Israeli stocks
Almost 800 GAA members have signed a letter urging the sporting body to end its association with insurance giants Allianz. The ‘Drop Allianz’ campaign is being driven by four campaign groups including Gaels against Genocide, Dubs for Palestine, Irish Sport for Palestine and Gaeil ar son Gaza. Finance Thailand Tightens Mobile Banking to Curb Scams
Not true lightning wallets, but I agree in Thailand it is restricted. They will have to change and adopt eventually but its a long slow and painful process as the powers that be fight to the death to keep the chains on the rest of us. Have you ever used one? It not called lighting for no reason. Instant and you are in charge, don't need to ask permission of any faceless bank representative. -

Finance Thailand Tightens Mobile Banking to Curb Scams
Has anybody told Immigration? The payment required for a single person's Extension of Visa based on Retirement is 65,000 baht per month, or 800,000 baht invested in a Thai bank account which (in my neck of the woods - I know there will be discrepancies as every Immigration Office(r) has their own interpretation of the rules) has to be in a single payment made on one day! (If it's already been mentioned please accept my apologies - I do not have time to to scrawl through 5 pages!) -

Report Kremlin Dismisses Zelensky Talks Amid Trump's Putin Warning
Senator Lindsey Graham is advocating for a sweeping sanctions bill to compel Vladimir Putin to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky and discuss an end to the Ukraine war. The proposed legislation would impose significant tariffs, potentially 500 per cent, on countries like China and India that continue to purchase Russian oil and gas. Graham stated that Donald Trump is prepared to 'crush' Russia's economy if Putin does not engage in peace talks. The bipartisan bill has garnered support from 85 senators, though it currently lacks explicit endorsement from the White House. Trump ‘prepared to crush Russia’s economy if Putin turns down peace talks’ Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, a supporter of the bill, cautioned against excessive optimism for a peace deal, emphasising that Putin responds to strength and pressure. Tell Donald, Richard. The rest of the world knows already.
