May 28, 20215 yr Received notification that HSBC USA is closing. They said my account will be moved to another bank. Sad to hear. I have been using this bank for approx. 15 years while in Thailand. They did not disclose the new bank. Anyone have an idea which bank will be getting the US customers.
May 28, 20215 yr I believe Citizens Financial bought most of the branches they are closing at least from the East Coast. What branch did you open account with ?

May 28, 20215 yr Author It was a good run. HSBC USA was/is a good bank for expats. The US banks are too provincial.
