Another stupid idea to lure Tourists to Phkuket. According to The Thaiger news site a plan has been submitted by a TCT ( Tourist council of thailand ). A member called Srisawat has said a Doller a night in a hotel room costing between 1000 tbt to 3 ,000 usually in an attempt to bring mass tourists back this year. The Thaiger reports the covid rate has hit 100,000 since April tet an official has stated " We " estimate 500,000 Visitors this year. slight problem wet season and covid restrictions plus Expats getting arrested and fined for drinking in there homes. Where do they drag these guys out and expect us to believe in there dreams. Only Yesterday the headline was Patts will take 4-6 years to recover. Of course this stupid idea has to be approved by the TAT and Tourism Sports Minster who called us Dirty Falangs and not wanted in Thailand.
