Govt accelerates assistance to SMEs needing low-interest loans

BANGKOK (NNT) - The government has launched measures to help rehabilitate business operations affected by COVID-19, especially SME management. More than 6,000 SME operations have received assistance from a budget of 16 billion baht.

PHUKET: People working in services in Phuket that require contact or close proximity with other people must be vaccinated in order to be allowed to reopen, Phuket Vice Governor Piyapong Choowong has confirmed.

Thailand sees $15 billion injected in H2 to help economy amid outbreak

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's government expects 473 billion baht ($15.2 billion) to be injected into the economy in the second half after it approved on Tuesday a planned stimulus to mitigate the impact of a third wave of COVID-19 infections, an official said.

Thailand gains 1.2bn baht revenue from international film productions

BANGKOK (NNT) - Film productions by international companies in Thailand have gained the country 1.2 billion baht in income despite the pandemic this year. The Department of Tourism anticipates this source of revenue will contribute 3 billion by the end of year, hoping the government will further promote this business for the next year.
