as far as I know, one can register a scooter or car with the yellow book without a residency certificate from immigration. I have a yellow book, which is only in Thai language also names which were taken from the marriage certificate translated in Thai. The blue book for the car will have names of the owner in Thai as well if registring with the yellowbook, while the passport is only in roman alphabets. Does anybody experience this situation and might this cause any problems later on?

Some provinces do not allow use of yellow book ,   name in green/blue book being in Thai or English  no problem.
