stevenk
must have received the full dose of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Royal Thai Government and as recommended by the manufacturer, or received 1 dose of AstraZeneca vaccine. I'm sure AZ recommend 2 doses................ Only J&J is a single dose vaccine, another case of confusion rules here in sunny Thailand. With leaders like this who needs comedians.

Phuket and Thailand are so desperate now for Tourists, they would allow almost anybody who has a single Jab of anything in. The whole Country seems to be under the false illusion, that after only One Jab they are vaccinated and fully Inoculated against Covid. Mass Delusional behavior, not just incredible to witness, but also very, very scary.

I thought so too. It basically confirms that a single dose of sinovac is not considered enough protection, it requires both. A single dose of AZ gives higher protection, although not as good as two doses obviously. and yet, the word “vaccinated” is used for Phuket residents who have had just one dose of sinovac, when calculating the 70% threshold for accepting tourists. The latter makes no sense. The former has logic given the efficacy figures quoted for a single dose of sinovac. wensiensheng
The issue for Phuket is that these requirements were put in place in the quest for unicorn international tourists. A lot of factors suggest those will be very few and far between..Meanwhile, the requirements basically kill a lot of the domestic tourist business. why face all this rigamarole when Phangna and Krabi are just around the corner? and now, although I can’t do any international travel obviously, even weekend trips to neighboring provinces are impractical because I can’t get back into Phuket.
KhunBENQ
"or Antigen Test" Are there still know betters who claim that PCR is mandatory? (huge difference) Any first hand experience? Would also be useful to point out more clear that it is: "01 or 02 or 03" (hopefully). Edited June 11, 2021 by KhunBENQ
connda
Ok, juggle the burning chainsaw 10 times and you can enter a 14 day quarantine after which you'll be released as long as you're masked, social distanced, hands are washed, and you promise not to meet with other people or attempt to have fun! Caldera
A negative Covid test from 7 days ago is pretty much worthless.
