Police in Bangkok have arrested a 27 year old woman in Soi 36 Rachadaphisek after she advertised selling a famous brand of cosmetics on Instragram.

But instead of sending beauty products to customers who believed her claims she sent them cake.

Pol Col Bunleu Phadungthin and his team arrested Siripraphaporn or Atcharaporn as she is now known at an apartment block in the soi in the Chatuchak area.

They presented a May 6th warrant.

The suspect who has been charged with fraud and other online offences was also into loan sharking getting her customers to send her ATMs and bankbooks as guarantees.

These were then used for further online crime that defrauded 100 victims, reported Daily News yesterday.

The young selling beauty products most likely thought, if they eat the cake they can't ask for their money back. Because you can't have your cake and eat it to. Now who ate the cake?

My favourite also.

But after reading the link it shows  it wasn't really cake.

The link says a packet of snacks.

So sorry, no cake and no chocolate mentioned in the link.

I hope she is jailed for a few years and forced to eat Thai prison food.

looks like she stuffed a fair amount of cake down her as well!

Have your cake and eat it too

Never buy online....especially here

Was that 27 years or stones ????

Why does this look like a story I saw a few days or a week or so ago? And on a side note, these types of scams often seem to be done by women. Scamland.
