Local journalist in the seaside town of Hua Hin Kulsawek Sawekwannakorn reported on Facebook that pubs, bars and karaokes in the area will remain shut.

 

This despite pleas to the Prachuap Khiri Khan authorities to allow them to reopen.

 

The authorities said they were following Center for Covid Situation Awareness directives and any change in the closure policy would come from them. 

 

Sulawek noted that also high on the agenda at a meeting chaired by the provincial governor yesterday was the provision of vaccine with requests having been made for Sinopharm vaccine and measures underway so that they do not double up on government supplies of vaccine. 

 

He did not report which authorities had made such requests - Thaivisa has already reported that Tha Yang in Phetchaburi and Pattaya in Chonburi have already filed for Sinopharm supplies from the Chulabhorn Royal Academy. 

 

So far 64,000 people in Prachuap have applied to be vaccinated.

Huh? Why on earth would you follow the directives of these clowns? The 4th grade science students know more about Covid and disease control, than they do. 

 

All provinces should revolt, and set up their own plans and openings. And their own responses to the dumb, sadistic and draconian authorities.

really is NCa17703 really 65? I honestly thought he was the only youngster in Hua hin, well around 35 - 40 i would have put him in relation to his posts!

I have a colleague who lives in HH, his local Bar in HH is open every night ?

Kinda true.  The place seems to always have a little business going on compared to Pattaya or Phuket.  I can always find a nice place to eat.  Not a bar person and being married puts the kebash on mongering.  Feel sorry for the bar owners though.

besides there are more bars open in HH now than closed ! Either go around the back or take your own mug.

I am not that desperate for a drink of alcohol to go round sneaking in Bars with my own mug and breaking the law in a foreign country. Of course there are some foreigners in Thailand think they can do what they like then complain if they get pulled up for speeding or not wearing a helmet.

the time for jailing selfish pox spreaders has arrived imo. There's just too many who believe this world is for their entertainment and to hell with anyone else no matter how many deaths. The same scene was played out in the UK/USA to a combined total of almost 800,000 deaths, how uniformed can people be? lol

Yes cases are getting higher and higher but the bar loves keep wanting them open while this will only increase the spread even further. There is no logic to their madness just selfishness.
