Travel Restrictions Tourism: Banned. Testing: Temperature check and negative PCR test no more than 72 hours before arrival.Quarantine Required: YesQuarantine Details: Quarantine for 7 days in state facilities, 7 days self isolation at home. Masks: Masks are required in public spaces COVID Restrictions in Myanmar Lockdown: NoEvents: No more than 30 people.Transport: Operating but with restrictionsShopping: OpenEating out: Restaurants are open but with restrictions Myanmar Entry Restrictions Myanmar's Foreign Affairs Ministry recently announced the extension of entry restrictions for all travelers to the end of July due to COVID-19 pandemic. During the period, the entry of all travelers, the issuance of all types of visas and visa exemption services will be suspended. Foreign nationals, including diplomats and United Nations officials, who wish to travel to Myanmar by relief or special flights due to urgent official missions or compelling reasons, are asked to contact Myanmar mission for possible exception to certain visa restrictions, the statement said. Latest Travel Advisory 1. Until 31 July 2021, flights to Myanmar are suspended. - This does not apply to medevac flights. 2. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at most 72 hours before departure. - This does not apply to nationals of Myanmar. 3. Passengers are subject to quarantine for 14 days. 4. Airline crew are subject to quarantine until their next flight. 5. Suspension of all visa exemptions and visa on arrival facilities.
