CoE Insurance Necessary for Roundtrip Travel?

Featured Replies

Do I need CoE approved insurance if I'm currently living in Thailand but plan to leave and come back? Non-O Visa based on marriage.

I currently have insurance through Aetna though I would need to up the policy to meet the ~3 mil requirement. Is that sufficient?

You do not need medical insurance to get a COE if you have a non-o visa or a re-entry permit for a extension of stay based upon marriage.

You do need the $100.000 covid 19 insurance for the length of stay you will get when entering the country.

Hello,

Sorry if a dumb question but I have an extension of stay based on marriage and will be leaving for a few months and returning I know I have to get a reentry stamp before I leave but my question is when I return what kind of stamp will I get at the airport at immigration for how long to stay? Will it be for 30 or 60 days? or Do I need to buy the covid insurance for the whole year until my new extension of stay expires? I would like to buy the shortest time frame that is allowed for covid insurance.

Thank you
