I got a TT&T line in just a few days. I went to Carrefour, Pattaya Klang and showed my passport and address in Thai language and paid 3,200 baht. They gave me a brand new state of the art text telephone to take away.

Three days later a knock at the door at 8.00 am and three TT&T guys installed the cables and charged me 600 baht for their trouble.

Job done, no real complaints.

Passport and rental contract or tabien baen, depending on whether you rent or own.

If there are available lines in your local switch it's usually a matter of a few days. If not, uhuh....
