The Department of Land Transport in Bangkok responded after a passenger went online to complain about a ride from Victory Monument to Klong 6 in Pathum Thani on Sunday.

The passenger ended up getting out at Future Park, Rangsit, because they were freaked by the driver's behavior.

He was spitting, pretending to stab himself and laughing to himself.

Sorawuth was soon traced and admitted everything.

He was fined 1,000 baht for not being safe, 1,000 baht for not being polite and actually being annoying, given a 15 day suspension of his license and ordered to undergo three hours of training.

Daily News pictured him sitting in front of a video telling him how to behave.

He seems to be the "basket case". A medical assessment may have been more appropriate.

I am going to owe an awful lot of money to people.

they should have given him a drug test or psych evaluation at least.

Yep that send out a real message... do what you want and get a minimal slap..

Should be kicked out of the taxi business for life and told to fill shelves somewhere for a living, plenty of 7-11's around.

80% of taxi drivers/riders would fail that.

my guess not a high five probably just high

Lunatic.

3 hours of training should straighten him out though.

I'd suggest to mods that next time of banning me I receive 3 hours of training. When ir Rome and TIT should apply in my case.

1000 baht fine for not being polite? I see rude people now and then , how do I complain to the authorities?

Is it really true you sent him a knife sharpener?

I always travel with the wife now but I'd say I never have had a rude driver. Not that I can remember. In fact, most are pretty great. Thanks for taking me across town on Friday at 330 for 220b. Sometimes more than two hours!

Yeah, your a half drunken moron hailing a cab to go from Nana to Cowboy or down Sukhumvit you deserve it. That's just some dumbass planning. Book a 500b room and just crash. Take BTS next morning.
