The Thai Food and Drug Administration has approved and registered four rapid antigen COVID-19 test kits for home use yesterday (July 16). “The test kits are only for initial tests, which cannot be used as proof for travelling. Not much point in using them if there not good enough to show . Maybe just another money making machine that's not much good for anything other than a home test which could show false positives or vice versa . 5

Scott Tracy
Seems to me reading some blurb, these tests come with a higher risk of showing a false negative. Although these tests provide quick results, they aren’t as accurate as laboratory tests because they require more of the virus in your sample to report a positive result. Rapid tests come with a high risk of giving a false negative result. A false negative means the test shows you don’t have COVID-19 when you do actually have it. https://www.healthline.com
Iron Tongue
Pharmacies in the US has had similar for a year. Perfect for use if you or family is worried about infection. Useless outside of home because no way to prove who actually took the test.
