gpickett71 Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 (edited) I would like to teach English in Bangkok next year but I take several medications. I wonder if anyone could help me find out how much my medications would cost there. I take: Strattera 40mg, Strattera 60mg, and Effexor 150mg. Thank you. Edited May 26, 2007 by gpickett71
TerryLH Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 If you're working legally you'll be in the Thai Social Security system. After an initial 3 months of paying 750 baht per month you'll be assigned a hospital to use. You'll get all your medications free. Not bad for 750 baht a month. Lots more as well.

lopburi3 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I would want to make sure those medications are available. Suspect very few people who could use such treatment receive it here due to cultural taboos.
popshirt Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Effexor is available in Thailand, I get it from the pharmacist in a nearby soi.
