Medication Costs

Featured Replies

I would like to teach English in Bangkok next year but I take several medications. I wonder if anyone could help me find out how much my medications would cost there. I take:

Strattera 40mg, Strattera 60mg, and Effexor 150mg.

Thank you.

If you're working legally you'll be in the Thai Social Security system. After an initial 3 months of paying 750 baht per month you'll be assigned a hospital to use. You'll get all your medications free.

Not bad for 750 baht a month.

Lots more as well.

I would want to make sure those medications are available. Suspect very few people who could use such treatment receive it here due to cultural taboos.

Effexor is available in Thailand, I get it from the pharmacist in a nearby soi.
