Christopher Schutzius
I am a US Citizen residing in Bangkok with a work permit. I need to fly to the US (Chicago) soon, stay about three weeks, and then return to Thailand. I have several questions/concerns and I am wondering if anyone here has recently arranged such travel. 1) Vaccine/Negative test I have taken two doses of Sinovac here in Bangkok, and I have the certificate. I understand I'll need to get a negative COVID test to fly out. Are there any countries through which I can transit with a quarantine? 2) I think that current rules require that upon return to Thailand I will have to quarantine for two weeks in an approved facility, even if I have taken a Pfizer vaccine in the US. Is that correct? 3) Do I need to show proof of COVID health insurance to re-enter Thailand? Thanks in advance for any advice Edited July 26, 2021 by Christopher Schutzius
