And what was the comparable number of new cases over the preceding similar period? And how many of the 362 new cases found in Rayong were transferred to other provinces for medical care, to offset the 49 new cases going in the opposite direction? Turning to the news item itself, precisely where in Rayong is "the area where the pandemic occurred"? Crucial information for those who have been advised to go for a screening test ASAP as a result, I would have thought! This particular article strikes me as being an all-too-typical case of incomplete reporting, with its readers being left to play guessing games in filling in the blanks. The overall position may well, in all probability, be worsening as the Rayong governor is reported to have stated, but no specific information in support of this assertion appears to have been included. PETERTHEEATER
What is the difference between a 'new' case and 'confirmed case?
Senechal
That's a lot of daily cases. Are restaurants, malls and cafes closed in Rayong, same as Chonburi? Or still open?
huangnon
As usual, all "cases" are asymptomatic (ie; 'not sick'), and all Covid-19 "deaths" have co-morbidities (existing serious illnesses, or just old age). But quick, go get your vaccines! ????
