Not being a holiday went out to local Krungsri bank, closed. Went to central the whole place was shut, thought banks, pharmacies etc were meant to be open? Went to big C all the banks were closed. Did notice one K bank on the drive home which looked like it was open. Is this the holiday that was not meant to be which then got ignored? This is suburbs of Bangkok. Wil they be open Friday?

Many branches are shut 'coz of covid, our branch of SCB is open (Northern BKK) and was packed earlier today.

Some people still don't realize there's a pandemic knocking about. ????

You are apparently in one of the 13 provinces that are in "lockdown".

Banks in malls and departments stores have been closed.

Maybe a Buddhist holiday today? Beginning of Lent or Beginning of Vassa?

That was yesterday, last I saw on here was that the Banks in Malls were open, must have missed another government decree of wisdom! At least the booze was on sale anyway.

Suburbs of Bangkok, deep red zone. The original order was that all state/government banks (which KTB is one) in malls have to close. Why all private banks followed?

 

Not a holiday today but tomorrow (28). All closed.

Thursday and Friday banks outside the malls (roadside) should be open like the Kasikorn you saw today.
