We are coming up to our 2nd wedding aniversary in a couple of months, and its soon time for my wife to get her infinate L2R. However i am not sure how to do this as i have been told all the rules have changed ie Tests etc.....

Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what we need to do to get my wife final visa stay here in the UK? Costs involved Telephone numbers, generally any info you may have would be greatfully recieved. Im sure that many of you have been through this. We are in Yorkshire, is there somewhere northern that this can be done or is it all done in London?

Also i would like to know how i sort a UK Passport for her?

Cheers in advance and i look forward te reading the early replies before it goes into a discussion aboutr something compleatly different to what i asked in the first place lol

You wont have long to wait then :o

Have a look through this link Guidance Notes For indefinite Leave to Remain for a Spouse.

And here's some info on British Nationality you requested Guidance Notes

It is a start anyway.

Good Luck

The wife has just received her British Passport but before the new regs.

One step at a time. She must have lived in UK for 3 years married to a UK citizen and hold indefinite leave to remain in UK before she can apply for British Citizenship. The process can take, with the ceremony, about 9 months. Once she is a British Citizen she can apply for a British passport the normal way on the standard form but must include her citizenship certificate.
