Daily News reported on a TikTok clip that is going viral on Thai social media that they said epitomized the battle against Covid-19 being waged in Thailand.

The clip on @oomnattarat showed a female nurse in PPE gear collapsing as she attended patients who were not yet admitted to the covid ward at a facility in Samut Sakhon.

Colleagues rushed to her aid and took off the protective gear before she was taken to recover in a bed of her own.

This is all accompanied by Thai music.

I know that we are living in troubled times and humour can be a help when we are down, but I struggle to understand how anyone can click on a laughing emoji after watching that video.

Poor lass. I hope that she recovers soon. Thanks to all front line workers.

My Wife was a Nurse here for 25 years and i can say that even in normal circumstances Nurses are not treated well, not paid well or cared about, even by their own Management.

Best wishes to this Nurse and we wish her a full and speedy recovery.

All around the world these people are dealing with this. They don't get enough respect or praise. And they have to deal with a lot of non-believers in science nowdays coming into the emergency rooms in the developed world. It's a sad state.

poor thing .....  hope she gets some food & rest to charge her back up.

The powers that be will probably look at this as fake news...for propaganda only.

But very distressing to watch...

of course - but more than that , let's hope that she and all those working on the front line get the recognition and rewards they deserve.
