The latest poll conducted in Thailand called for the people to come together to solve the pandemic crisis.

It criticised people who are protesting against the government for sowing division on the streets and on social media.

More than 93% of the population wanted Thais to pull together in a spirit of cooperation with the authorities like during the cave rescue drama (of mid-2018 in Chiang Rai).

A total of 1,118 people nationwide were polled from August 10th to 14th.

the government did not solve pandemic crisis, as some countries around the world did within the last few months.

Moreover, the government has created this crisis by thonglor clusterfluck, songran covid parties.

By abandoning to order over 3mln doses the last year and ordering very slow, small quantities and substandard vax, they have already killed thousands, with a prospect of tens of thousands within this 4th wave lasting till end of year.

Change this government, in it's corruption it's unable to act reasonable. Put them on trial, confiscate ill gotten gains.

Cave rescue was not more than a nationalistic parade from the officials, jingoism. They did very little, with an attempt to take all credits (prayuth cooking meals at rescue camp canteen). A handful of highly specialised rescuers were all what was needed. The rest was just a show for masses

Please don't throw us out of power. Think of the (cave rescue) children!

A whole 1,100 people polled. Very comprehensive...

It seems the yellow polling organisation have been told to publish polls supporting the government. The yellow NIDA has also published a similar poll.

strange poll.. when they come together the police is there with rubber bullets. tear gas and watercanons. And if there are more than 5 together you will get fined.... So How can you come together than?

It's those at the top of the food chain running Thailand that are splitting the country not uniting it.

Throw the regime in a cave.

Rescue optional.

Win-win, brings the country together.

Super-Duper Poll says 123% thought this was a good idea.

Wasn't it foreigners that eventually rescued those kids though?

Must have been polled to those who have and the have more ! ????????

So typical again! In what country in the world in 2021 are Thai/American/French, etc., people asked to pull together?

Is that the 1930s or 1940s? Why not ask "people" to pull together? (Oh yes, and I guess the Thais did the 2018 cave rescue all by themselves as well...)

The people are together, it's the government that's fragmented.

Maybe people in Thailand should come together.

I - for one - can feel a very fast growing hatred against anything Non-Thai, be it the alien or the dirty farang. Fact is, that  Thailand needs the rest of the world at least as much as vice versa; after all, mobile phones and all vaccinations are non-Thai inventions to the better of the rest of the world.

So stop the bashing on all non-Thai stuff and you can start at the top of this government for good measure!

The government did very little to help with the cave rescue.

In fact, they were a hindrance. Trying to keep the foreign rescue team out of it and bringing in the poorly equipped Navy Seals of which one sadly died.

Lots of barriers put up by the government but the Provincial Governor was the Thai on the ground that made it all happened. Ably assisted by the local Thais.

Yes, the foreign rescue team were the life savers and they were very well supported by the locals. Not the central government - until it suddenly looked like it might work.

Then, of course, the government finally came in and 'saved the day'? Ably assisted by Elon Musk.

(There may be some sarcasm in that last sentence.)

Exactly! More and more people are becoming united against the government.
