The chief of Koh Samui's tourism promotion association said that the Samui Plus Model would be impacted "for sure" by the UK government's decision to place Thailand in its Red List after it was removed from the Amber List.

 

This came into effect at 4am Monday UK time and means that UK travellers returning have to have tests three days prior to going back and have to quarantine at government approved hotels for 10 days once in the UK.

 

The charge is 2,285 UK pounds or 102,400 Thai baht, reported Channel 7 yesterday.

 

Ratchaporn Phoonsawat said that British people represented the third most likely nation to avail themselves of the Samui Plus scheme to reopen the islands in Surat Thani.

 

Better news was in the offing for Phuket, Krabi and Phangnga, however, after the Thai government announced the Sputnik V vaccine had been approved paving the way for hundreds of thousands of Russian, Ukrainian and other former Soviet bloc tourists to visit.

Thailand skated on the edge of this red line for a long time. For a while not the UKGOV's own rules, if applied correctly, put Thailand in the red list. USA anti CCP driven politics has protected TIT for long enough. New variants are now breeding in the massively unvaccinated covid factories in Thailand.

 

Spin about vaccines, using useless CCP vaccines and figure massaging has maybe been noticed by the UKGOV.

The UK actually gave the official reason. Not enough genetic testing to identify potential variants.

Yes it has, about a week or so ago...????

With half a million Russians expected to visit Krabi - and please note that this is not a TAT-calculation - I'm pretty sure that Samui will also get their share, and based on the Krabi-expectations the Russian arrivals might outnumber the missing Brits...

 

However, only time will show...

Total BS all you have to do is look at the amount of tourists who have arrived via the Koh Samui sandboxThailand only went into the U.K. Red one 24 hours ago there getting a bit of there own Medication now having made tourists do 14 day quarantine on arrival it works both ways

Pretty sure the bht going back the way it came won’t help . The hassle and cost of tests , insurance and high priced accommodation and no alcohol will be just as big a factor to stop people coming as having to quarantine upon return to uk !

That's a political statement with no scientific validity that I know of.
If you want to state that then provide a published scientific study to back your assertion.  An "expert" opinion is just that - an opinion.  Opinions not bases on verifiable scientific studies are politic.

This is a scientific study the shows that those vaccinated with "leaky vaccines" are ones that do not provide full immunity are the proximate cause for mutant variants. So in reality it more likely that fully immunized people are creating the mutations.  If the ptb go with vaccines forever, they're likely to get variants forever.  Which is great news for vaccine manufactures who want a forever cash caw of boosters every 5 to 6 months.

If anything, the vaccinated are more likely to die off from the stronger variants. That sucks for people in Thailand as well as other third-world countries where vaccine distribution was flawed from the start.  The privileged and connected getting a third booster shot when most of up-country Thailand are still waiting for a first shot of whatever may be available.

The same effect happens with antibiotics which is why not taking antibiotics long enough to kill the bacteria creates super-bacteria.  Leaky vaccines cause super-viruses.  So if death counts in the unvaccinated population who here in Thailand (and other under vaccinated countries) are unable to get vaccines - its not the unvaccinated producing mutant strains. They are at serious risk.

But if you believe the politics (unvaccinated are mutant factories) then show me the hard science by way of a link to scientific studies.  I'd like to read them.  ????

welllll  the CCSA stated that most covid is coming from factories (and work camps) so please take your long rambling endless blah blah to them. Ask them for scientific proof - oh wait they just count them. I suppose counting is not good enough for you?
