BANGKOK (NNT) - Almost every region of Thailand is seeing heavy rain this week, emanating from a monsoon trough across the country. A warning has been posted for 16 provinces over possible flooding due to heavy rain.

(Reuters) - Thailand's capital launched on Wednesday a pilot bus service to ensure that the elderly and other vulnerable groups in Bangkok are vaccinated against COVID-19, underscoring the country's push to speed up its inoculation campaign.

PHUKET: Officers from Phuket Immigration arrested three Russians, two men and one woman, in Koh Kaew today (Sept.8) for fleeing bail in Pattaya, where they are wanted to face charges for assault and theft of paintings reportedly worth B50 million.

PHUKET: A local fisherman has raised the alarm after seeing what he believed was a crocodile on the small island just offshore from the northern end of Layan Beach in Cherng Talay.

Pheu Thai confident it will win next election no matter which ballot system is used

Thailand’s opposition Pheu Thai party is not concerned whether the constitutional amendments will be approved by the Senate, as the party expects to win the next election, said opposition chief whip Sutin Klangsang today (Wednesday), ahead of the vote whether to accept the popular two-ballot system proposition on Friday.
