Popular Post transam
I am only writing this because I have a big smile. I rebuilt the Honda mower, sadly the ignition coil/plug lead assembly was stuffed, also the throttle lever never stayed in one place, so I searched everywhere for replacements in LOS. No luck. Next step, Lazada... On it, I found, the complete ignition setup at 108bht, with delivery 138bht, a throttle lever (old fashioned type) 26bht, with delivery 54bht. from China. Weeeell, I thought, at those prices I'll chance it. Took three weeks, but the mower is up and running, what a find.. PS. Went to a bike shop in town, they made me an inner and outer cable to my measurement for 150bht......????
bbko
Those small Honda engines are built to take a beating and with a few replacement parts and maintenance get up and running again. When I had to cut several rai of elephant grass next to my house I had a walk behind brush cutter with a Honda GX 160 engine, after a few years I didn't need to cut the grass anymore but kept the Honda GX 160. It sat unused for a couple of years, but since this year's rain I took it in for maintenance and got it up and running, I still can't decide if I should attach a 2 inch water pump to it and use it when there's ankle deep water in the yard when the heavy rain hits, or attach a tiller and turn over my soil. I should have updated this thread...???? The item failed in short order....???? Luckily I kept the old coil/pickup assembly, pulled it apart to investigate, tweaked it, put it back on the mower, started first time...????
