Yes, I realize it is not possible to apply for an SRRV Smile right now...

 

Still, I am trying to be proactive and would like to hear of other peoples' experiences in applying for a SRRV Smile (over 35 years of age and $20,000 bank deposit).  Is anyone willing to post an "after action report"?  What snags did you run into?  What advice would you give to future applicants?

 

I'm optimistically assuming (yes, I realize assumptions are dangerous) the process, once it's available again, will be fairly similar to the process before the pandemic.

 

Would have rather posted this in the Philippines/Visa forum, but for some reason posting there is not possible.  I trust a Moderator will correct this post, if I'm doing something inappropriate.  My apologies in advance, if I am...
